The development of information technology has driven the use of multimedia as a more interactive and engaging means of communication. The Hazardous and Toxic Waste Management Area (KPLI-B3) in Kabil, as a central industrial waste processing facility in Batam, faces challenges in providing centralized and easily accessible information media. The lack of an interactive platform for introducing waste management companies has led to difficulties for industries in Batam in selecting appropriate waste disposal facilities, which may result in environmental pollution. This study aims to design a multimedia-based information system for introducing waste management companies in KPLI-B3 Kabil using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The MDLC method consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution & implementation. Data for this study were obtained through observations, interviews with KPLI-B3 Kabil staff, and literature studies related to waste management and multimedia applications. The result of this study is a prototype of an Android-based multimedia application that provides information about waste management companies operating in KPLI-B3 Kabil. This application is designed to facilitate access to information regarding waste categories, registered companies, and the location of waste processing facilities. Testing was conducted using the black-box testing method to ensure that the application functions as intended. The study concludes that the implementation of interactive multimedia in introducing waste management companies can enhance the efficiency of information dissemination and assist industries in Batam in selecting suitable waste management partners. Further development could include more advanced interactive features and integration with a digital waste management system.
